DC Beer Newsletter -July 2025

It's Hotter Than a Mosquito's Tweeter

Welp, in case you haven’t walked outside in the past week, it is officially summer. As it does every year, it came on with the quickness, but honestly that’s okay, because we have cold beer and friends to help us forget about the sweat dripping from our brow. We’ve got some cool July events to look forward to (some literally cool because they are inside!) We genuinely hope to see you all this month. Let us gather, cheers, and vent about this crazy country we live in. If you see our resident party person around town be sure to wish Brandy a very happy birthday before, during or after July 3rd!

The National Beer Wholesalers Association tells us the top beer holiday in America is Independence Day–followed by Memorial Day and Labor Day–so we’re right in the middle of the most important season for breweries. As we’re seeing the beer business writ large face a multi-year decline, your dollars spent at local small businesses are more valuable than ever.
