We’re so excited for June and as our editor, Jacob Berg, recently posted, World Pride is already under way. Go see Red Bear, Denizens, Bluejacket, DC Brau, Lost Generation, ANXO, and others for some tasty treats celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.

June 4th is National Cheese Day so go check out the woman-owned Paste & Rind, or any other small local business. Might we suggest Right Proper’s Shaw brewpub? Their cheese counter is a wonderful addition to the pub. For those following, World Gin Day is 10 days later, on June 14.

Sat. June 28. 1-3pm  Womxn’s Brew Culture Club goes to Denizens!

Come join us for a fun outing at Denizens Brewing Co. with the Womxn's Brew Culture Club! This is your chance to connect with fellow beer enthusiasts and enjoy some delicious brews. Let's share stories, swap recommendations, and simply have a great time together. Don't miss out on this opportunity to celebrate the wonderful world of craft beer with like-minded individuals. See you there! This event is open to women & non-binary folks seeking inclusive, educational & safe drinking spaces. Sat. 7th. Wheatland Spring Land Beer Fest. The beloved estate brewery event is returning in 2025! Wheatland Spring’s Land Beer Fest is one of our personal favorites, not only do we love anytime we get to head out there, but Land Beer Fest seems magical, like we are all nature loving hippies, but with beer. This year’s event will feature special bottles from 3 Fonteinen, offerings from Quartzwood, cider from Virginia’s finest, and special WS estate beer releases. There will be food, music, good vibes and did we mention fabulous beer?!
