In Maryland, Saint’s Row is staying put under new ownership, and Silver Branch will open a Wheaton taproom and brewery in 2027. In more immediate news, Franklin’s and Maryland Meadworks have a heavy hitting collab, while Streetcar 82 has one with a familiar face.

 DC Beer Events Spotlight

Thursday, June 18th. 6:30-8:30pm: June Beer Share at Franklin Hall. We have our very first mid-week share! June is freakin' nuts and we couldn't squeeze in a weekend share! But we are teaming up with Franklin Hall for a chill, Thursday night hang out. We'll call this beer share lite. How many rare bottles of beer can we pop in two hours? Let's find out. Open to all drinking adults. But you must RSVP so we know who is coming.

Wednesday, June 17th. 6:30-9pm - SPRK Trivia x DC Beer @ Other Half Brewing, Ivy City - Come party with Jordan, listen to good music, enjoy some hazies, and play trivia. It’s seriously fun, but not too serious.

We’re taking a field trip to Wheatland Spring! (Get it? A FIELD trip!) We’re teaming up with City Brew Tours for a trip to the farm. And this farm makes beer, delicious beer. Many of you love Wheatland Spring, but it’s a hike to get out there, and then there’s the whole drinking and having to drive back thing… ugh. With the help of City Brew Tours, we get a damn good deal. We ride out together for Wheatland Spring’s Annual Land Beer Fest on Saturday, June 13th. Spots on the van have sold out… but you can still meet up with us at Wheatland, you’ll just have to get yourself there. The Womxn’s Brew Culture Club will be representing at Wheatland Spring for their annual Land Beer Fest, too!

Wednesday, June 11th. 5pm start: WBCC Baltimore at Mystique. Hey Baltimore! Join the Womxn's Brew Culture Club as we head out to Mystique for a chill in-person hangout. It's the perfect chance to connect, vibe, and soak in some cozy brew culture with awesome folks. Amber is our Baltimore Branch Lead and is eager to welcome new folks and hang out with familiar folks. Please RSVP so we know how many to expect. Mystique is one of Baltimore's newest breweries, making delicious brews and quickly becoming a local favorite and ideal hangout spot.

It’s Pride Month! Check Red Bear’s socials for events all month long! Lost Generation is releasing both a beer and a hard seltzer on June 6th and 100% of proceeds from these beverages this day will go to Capital Pride. Speaking of Pride, be on the lookout for Pride Pils, and Port City’s Pride Market.

Urban Garden Brewing has soft opened, but their grand opening on is June 19, Juneteenth, also the site of the Black Brew Movement’s annual Brewbilee. Be there or be square!

Saturday, June 6: Atlas Anacostia goes tiki with a pig roast, tiki drinks, and other specials, while Lost Rhino turns 15 out in Ashburn.

Speaking of anniversaries, happy happy to Crooked Run, Third Hill, Black Flag, Guinness Baltimore, and City-State! Phew, that’s a lot of June babies. Watch the socials for celebratory events.

Sunday, June 14th: Kolsch service at Shelter / The Roost! For $39, they’ll serve unlimited pours of Kölsch from 12 to 3pm, circulating through the crowd with freshly poured glasses, or stangen, of Baby Blue on a special tray, known as a kranz. WHAT: Neighborhood Restaurant Group is bringing back the Keg Hunt, a multi-city craft beer scavenger hunt hosted by ChurchKey and Rustico.
